singapore merlion

today is the last day of training, going back to penang tomorrow. so there won't be much posting after that. wahahah. i wonder why? maybe always no comment? :P

anyway, another day, another day shooting under the rain.when i took this pic, is actually raining. some of them use umbrella to take picture, but not me. out of hand. haha.

this was taken using monopod and on self timer. shooting at 1/8.

after took a few of this pic, i turn around and shoot this view pic.
i took something like this before last year but this year abit different. hehe i shoot during the so call "prime time". so is it better? atleast got eye of singapore. hehe. got alot of pic of that also. will post when i m back to penang. abit lazy to process the pic today.

using mouse pad to browse picture is pain in the ass. *pif pif* good night penang, i will be back tomorrow! :D

singapore: orchard road

tonight the rain is not as heavy as yesterday, but still there is some. but it didn't stop me from shooting again.

so i was thinking, should i walk.... or take train or maybe drive a car like this one..
.. i m not going to new york..
..just orchard road in singapore...
..deepak told me the deco is very nice here during christmas days, so i drop by and snap a few pictures..
.. take full advantage of the rain to create reflection, and put my 50D into test..
.. then a "police" stop me..
... oh wait, Halloween over right? i guess this guy from japan really like playing dress up.

And Since i m here at the singapore famous shopping alley, why don't i stop by and buy something for her? how about Prada, my dear?..
.. devils wear prada.. but you not a devil so cannot..

then how about LV?..
.. if only you are here then maybe you can pick which one you like.

but you are not here. so, i decided to make a wish under the Christmas tree...
.. and hope that one day, i can buy you a Giorgio Armani.
wahahahah.. :P

anyway, this is the first time i was there on orchard road with their Christmas decoration up. the last time i was here is chinese new year, but this year is xmas. hehe. although it is a bit too early for xmas (right?), but they already put up the decoration.

a good way to attract people to come to singapore before christmas, dont you think so? i think, if you come here on xmas day. this place going to be pack with people, right? anyone come here everyyear for xmas celebration?

suntec: food republic

wanted to go new york new york, but by the time i pass by there no mood to eat. maybe i just had western yesterday that is why today no mood. haha. maybe i drop by tomorrow for dinner. =]

anyway, was out shooting in the rain again. wasn't raining as heavy as yesterday but still got a alot big rain drops keep on falling on my camera and lens. haha. this trip prove one thing.

canon 50D and Tamron lens can withstand rain also eh. lol. to make it worst i also change my lens in the middle of the rain just now. hahah.

will post up some of the picture later, but for now some food pics first. hahah. this is something i had in the food court today in suntec convention center. ( i need to pass by this place everyday :S) i didnt know there is a food court here until yesterday yin yin told me there is haha. :P

so i was there for dinner around 8pm and found this shop selling lei char rice (thunder tea rice) a.k.a the green color rice meal. lol. this one dont have much nuts compare to the one in KL, but this one better then the one i had in penang.so you mix the green color soup together and it look like this:
on my way back, i also tapou this kari puff. NICE!
the skin is hard on the top first layer, but 2nd layer onwards until the filling is superb soft. so each bite you can feel the hard skin on the top layer yet soft and fresh skins for the inner layer.
inside is chicken, potato, carrots, and sweet curry sos. very NICE!

i wonder can i tapou food back to Penang, hmm... anyway, thanks yin yin for both the recommendation! hojiak!

tony roma's suntec singapore

it was a raining day here in singapore. hmm atleast at night for the pass two days had been raining cats and dogs. so, how was the weather back there at home? raining also?

today was the first day training. alot input, alot need to remember and hope when i m back i know can implement it. very interesting training and very interesting trainer too.

he is from india and just come to singapore 2 to 3 months back. but he speak very american english during training (phew~). but something very interesting i notice about him, that is when he speak with another indian. his indian slang english is out. with the head shaking and speaking the slang. lol. but when i ask him, all that stop. lol. wonder why. :P

anyway, enough talking more food photo since i didnt get to go out shoot much tonight. only a few shoot under the rain. but this was taken in tony roma's.

i know is a big order, but i m ordering on behalf of two person. me and my wife, and since she is not here with me today... so.... i m eating on her behalf! hahaha.. tomorrow going to new york new york, nice?

sushi tei singapore

recommended by the local last year, so this year i drop by again for the 2nd round. can consider it as the best two japs food i ever tasted so far.

is located in Raffel City, the shop name is Sushi Tei. the line is very long on peak hours. so it might takes a while. but dont worry, all the waiting is all worth it!
first is their dragon prawn! and i mean DRAGON ok? the size is HUGE! one of this is enough to make up one meal laio i tell you~
next their seaweed salad with their own sushi tei sos.
yummy~! sorry dear, can't bring you this round, but i eat on behalf of you. hehe. *blup* what a good meal! well worth it. :)
